Is ATT & ATT Uverse the same thing?

I switched over from ATT to ATT Uverse 3 months ago and I got a bill from ATT and was wondering if they could shut my ATT Uverse off since I haven't payed my old ATT

    Yes, they're the same so it could happen.

    They are the same company if that is what you are asking.

    Uverse is just a service where you have really high speed DSL, and can subscribe to TV over it.
