I've always disliked the idea of a sexual attraction to furries (anthropomorphic animals), I was always in it for the art. I've seen my fair share of erotic furry art and I've never really been aroused. I've noticed that lately I've been having more and more erotic thoughts about furries and I think I might be developing a sexual attraction for them. This idea probably weirds you out doesn't it. Fear the unknown right? Anyways, if you intend to give a serious answer I'd love to hear your 2 cents on it. Am I developing a sexual attraction to furries?

I certainly think it's possible. Kind of like how sometimes you develop attraction to people who you would have never considered attractive before.

A fetish can be developed. They are triggers that can develop in childhood or over time. For example, perhaps you looked at this art after engaging in a sexual encounter. When you looked at it at the time the encounter may have been on your mind. unknowingly and for some unknown reason, looking at the art turned you on more and more. If these feelings disturb you at all and you want to change it, you can try behavioral therapy techniques to rid the fetish.

No one is born with a fetish.
They develop through operant conditioning which pairs the the neutral stimulus of furries with the operant stimulus of sex.

what that means is that if you think about furries while looking at images that arouse you sooner or later the furries are paired in your brain with the other, sexual stimulus.

This only becomes a problem when the fetishist advances to the point where they need the fetish in order to be aroused at all.
