Would this be illegal?
Long story short, I live on the first floor of an apartment complex, there are handicap spots right in front of my window, people park there to run inside and leave their lights on all the time, it's annoying. My question is:
If I were to buy a big handheld spotlight, and shine it at them through my window, would that be illegal? I don't think so, but I've been wrong before.
Before you lecture me about the morality of the situation, let me say that this is not my first option, I've put up signs, talked to my neighbors, yelled out the window, I've even gotten up, gone outside and asked people to turn their lights off.
Thanks in advance.
I live in Colorado btw.

Not illegal. A reasonable person would not feel that just getting a light in the face was being assaulted. But, if they already do not care about stopping in a HC spot and they do not care about the lights hitting your windows, well those type are also not going to care, because they feel they are special, about throwing a brick or taking a shot through your window

It's not illegal because you've asked nicely and you aren't hurting them in any way just don't pretend to be a cop or anything stupid like that cuz that is illegal but otherwise you have no reason to get in any legal troubles

If the flood light is shining directly at the window , yes that will be illegal. Google search it, you will see.
Classified as disturbing the peace.
