Japanese internment camps question!?
So after the Pearl Harbor attacked, any japanese american living in Hawaii was forced to move out of their house into an internment camp.
Did any of these japanese people try to escape from these camps? Or resist being taken into them? If so, how?

About 110,000 Japanese immigrants, many American born, and descendants were all from the West coast area of the US. Hawaii, not a state at the time, had about 150,000 that were also interred into what were referred to as "Relocation Camps." I've never heard of any being killed while trying to escape, because I've heard many testify of the futility. Even if one should escape, the environment was so extreme and remote there's little chance they would have survived, but many did die from disease, living conditions and weather. During the War only 10 people were arrested for spying for Japan, and they were all Caucasians. In 1944 all men over 18 were asked if they'd like to join the US. Armed Forces and few refused, with many performing valiantly and with great honor. A law was passed in 1945 freeing all, but it will always remain a dark, shameful episode in America.

This only happened on the west coast of the U.S. Not one Japanese-American was ever put into an internment camp that lived in Hawaii. To get out of them young men volunteered to join the U.S. Army.
