How to hold a mouse still?
I have a pet fancy mouse who I need to hold still to apply ointment to her ear. What is the best way to hold her still cuz she wiggles too much?! I know cats and dogs can b held by the "scruff" but can mice be held like that or somehow similarly??

The best way to hold a mouse to give ointment or medicine is to have someone else cup his hands around him/her leaving his head sticking out to apply the ointment to the ear. You can also hold the mouse yourself with one hand leaving his head out and with the other hand apply the ointment. You can't hold him by the scruff or by the tail, you could cause injury. Just be firm don't be afraid your going to squish him, just be careful and give him the medication he needs.
