Assuming there is a god, there is a hell, and your spirit lives on after this life....?

Most religions all have similar veiws on this. God has given us life and to take it away from him and what your suppose to learn is basically giving a wonderful gift back to him. I think when people do this ones soul is never at rest..... never.

Nothing....you are still just as dead as if you didn't. Suicide is a mental problem, and therefore cannot be considered murder. Just like a person who shoots a burglar found raping the man's wife...the man shoots him, probably partly because he is out of his mind with hate.

People doing things out of mind, cannot be held responsible. So I doubt God will hold it against them for doing it.

Anything could happen, because you didn't specify who goes to hell/heaven and if killing yourself is sacred and honourable (such as in certain ancient japanese rituals) or a bad thing, a "sin" like in catholicism.

If there were a god vicious enough to create a hell, it would be cruel enough to torture suicides there.

It's impossible to determine beforehand, but if there's a reasonable god, I doubt he/she/it would indiscriminately punish suicidal people.

There is no "God", so when you take your own life you get buried and you decompose.

You cease to exist. God is imaginary.

You kill your spirit, and your spirit kills its spirit, and so on, in an infinite regress.
