I am confident that something does happen to matter and energy at speeds beyond light, but we can only speculate. I believe that beyond the speed of light, is a mirror image of our own Universe, except in reverse. It is traveling 180 degrees backwards to our own reality, and the forces and energy there is exactly equal and opposite with what we experience. For example, if gravity is the weakest force here, its the stronger force there. If the 'strong subatomic force' is strongest here, it is weakest there. If we are the result of excess matter particles here, they are the result of excess anti-matter particles there.

Of course there's no mathematics or observational evidence to support that hypothesis, because matter on this side of the speed of light can't gain access to the side faster than light.
