Can you use a computer monitor to play PlayStation 3 on it?

I recently ordered component cables for my PS3 because I noticed there were component slots on the back of my computer monitor. Will I be able to game in high def on my computer monitor?

    I don't think component outputs in HD, but you'll still be able to play on a fairly decent resolution using it. To get 720p or 1080p, you'd need to use HDMI.

    You can if your monitor is HDMI compatible. If not you can always look online somewhere and find a converter for it.
