Esselle : ) Hello It Looks like some didnt answer both parts. Any % is #/100 so 10% is 10/100 or 1/10. 50% is 1/2. That is times so 10% of 10 is 1. 50% of 10 is 5. % off subtracts so 10% off 10 is 10-1 9. An other % is tax add on. 5% on 10 is 10.5. 5% on 50 is 52.5 Hope that helps.

its very simple for example lets use the number 300. 10 percent of 300 would be 30. basically just drop the last number of whatever number there is and keep the first two number another example lets use the number 45. 10 percent of 45 is 4.5 a two digit number rember to move the decimal point one place over to the right

Take the number you have in mind and take off the last digit. For instance if something is $100 then you can take the last digit off which in this case would be $10...$100-$10=$90 hope this helps :-)

Very easily.
10% of 732 = 73.2
Just move the decimal point one time to the left.
10% of 23 = 2.3
10% of 7328913 = 732891.3
10% of 555.55 = 55.555
After you have the 10% just subtract it from the original value.
10% of 23 = 2.3
23-2.3=20.7

Say you want 10 % off a pair of 49.99 jeans. Just move the decimal over to the left 1 place. 4.99 is 10% of 49.99. So just take 4.99 off of 49.99 witch equals 45.00.

say it costs $60.00, move the decimal place over to the left once (so now its $6.00) and subtract it from $60. so a $60 item with 10% off would cost $54

just move the decimal point one place to the left . if you have 3,580 apples , ten percent would be 358 . simple .
