Does Tony Romo deserve to be a starting quarterback?
I know, he receives a lot of hate lately known as the choker from fans around the NFL. I think though he would be a good quarterback on a different team. Your thoughts?
Yes, I like Tony Romo a lot and only if the cowboys have a good offensive linemen... He is good at extending the play. Yes he had some "chokes" but toward the end of the season, he really limited his mistakes. It was the defense that was in meltdown mode. Your thoughts?

I am not a Cowboys or Romo fan, but yes he deserves to be a starting QB.
Aikman's best season ever was 3445 yds and 23 TD's and 14 Int's. And that was with Micheal Irvin, Alvin Harper and Jay Novacek. And also the best offensive line ever in the NFL. Not to mention a running game with E Smith.
Romo as you have stated has a bad O line. He has passed for over 4000 yds twice and over 30 TD's twice. He will be the Cowboys all time leading passer in TD's barring injury after the end of this upcoming season. He will break most every Cowboys passing record within the next 3 and 1/2 seasons.
He does make bad decisions at some bad times but some times its because he is trying too hard. I'm not making excuses because I can't stand the Cowboys but I know a good player ( and he is a pretty good athlete) when I see one.
Tony Romo is not the Cowboys problem. They have a lot of other problems on that team and Romo is like the 10th thing on the list.

Yes he deserves to be the starter. He needs an O-Line that doesn't get him killed though, a consistent RB that can stay healthy and make plays when needed, and a defense that can make key stops when needed. Romo is definitely a good QB but will always be compared to Roger Staubach and Troy Aikman as long as he wears a star on his helmet. He will always be criticized until he wins a Super Bowl, but I think if he was with a different team (Chiefs, Jaguars, Titans) he would be praised more.
People expect Tony Romo to be the leader of the Cowboys and rightfully so, but even Peyton Manning needed a TEAM to get his first ring. Bill Parcells once said in an interview, he believed Romo could be a successful QB with a great supporting CAST. Romo can't catch every ball he throws, and block every guy trying to maul him. He needs EVERYONE to play their part in order for him to really shine.

i like Dallas and form of agree including your opinion approximately Romo. My effect is that he does not have arms great adequate to regulate the soccer. and that's no longer a obtainable opinion via fact Dallas lost and deserved to lose. If somebody is familiar with approximately Romo's hand length, i might choose to renowned. He merely does not seem to have consistent administration of the soccer. a high quality that's no longer appropriate for a expert quarterback.

Yes. He is a top 10 QB in the league. That means if the Cowboys replace him, most likely they wouldn't be getting a better QB. He isn't HOF material, but most QBs aren't. If he happens to win a couple Super Bowls in the next 5 years, that would get him into the HOF. His numbers are good enough that a few big wins would put him in the hall.

He's a good quarterback on his current team.
He'd be a good QB anywhere (not that he'd start in GB or NO or a couple other cities)
Brilliant question.
