Can someone explain this statement to me?
Explain the rationale of the statement: "The way to keep body salt and water weight under control is to drink more, not less, water."

Yes! it is true! The reason it works is because if you are drinking water, you aren't drinking other stuff that will have sugar in it. Sugar raises insulin levels, making it harder for the body to excrete sodium.
Also, drinking water will flush out salt and fluid from your system. A more hydrated body is less likely to retain water believe it or not!
:)
Here are more tips:
eat less salt
exercise more
don't undereat!
hope this helps! :)
