To travel from Chennai to Coimbatore, whats the best route? I dont mind driving extra kms if the road is good.?

Chennai - Tambaram- Salem- Coimbatore road (NH 45) is the Best route.

Poonthamalli High road - Sriperambudur - Ambur - Vellore - Burgur - Dharmapuri - Thoppur - Salem - Sankagiri - Bhavani - Chitode - Perundurai - Avinashi - Coimbatore

The above route almost 4 lane road upto Avninashi

if it is by road then chennai tambaram thindivanam villuppuram ulundurpet kallakurichi aatthur salem sankari bhavani(outer) perundurai perumanallur, avinashi and coimbatore

The best and short route is Chennai-Villupuram-Kallakurichi-Athur-Erode-Coimbatore.

nh 45, route.

tambaram, villupuram, salem, coimbatore,

good four lane route, better than vellore , ambur route
