I care about debts so why doesn't Obama.?

I am 46 my mortgage is paid and other other debts will be paid by July. I make a decent wage 68k now. When I bought my house 13, years ago made I a third of that. I paid most the mortgage off by having house stuffed full of roommates who paid rent.

Now I am saving 200 a month for my one child's education (didn't have more kids because i wanted to be able to finance child's education). I have been saving $700 month for retirement as well and will increase that to 2k a month in July after all debt is paid.

I am scared for the future because the USA is going broke under it's crazy spending. How can I protect myself and family against a administration that burns more wealth everyday then the world had in total during my grandfather's time.

This muslim Hussein Obama is out to destroy this great nation, so he does care about the US debt, he wants it to go high enough so that it will destroy this country, why else do you think he has doubled the US debt in only three years?

@ xpatinas. You sir want to sound intelligent, but with remarks like you just posted does just the opposite for you. this muslim Hussein Obama has already said he doesn't need congress, and anything he wants to get through he just signs an executive order and by passes congress all together. I would think the most uneducated would know that by now.

@ Armchair Goddess. your answer was so far off and so stupid I will not even bother to comment on it.

President Obama has done exactly what was needed in order to reverse the devastating nation-destroying fiscal effects of the failed policies of the previous administration and the Grover-Norquist-following GOP. In case you missed the Bloomberg News, Reuters, and MSNBC 2010 reports, the Obama administration and the Democrats in Congress REDUCED THE GOP-CAUSED DEFICIT by 8% as of December 2009! President Obama's very first FY budget (which began on October 1, 2009--nine full months after he'd been sworn in) CUT SPENDING from the final Bush/Cheney $1.09 TRILLION fiscal year budget that ended September 30, 2009 by the $.09 TRILLION (also reported in Bloomberg News, AP, and Reuters), and he gave standing orders for each of his Cabinet members to CUT SPENDING BY 5% from their respective departments, eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse. As part of this effort to CUT SPENDING, President Obama CANCELED the wasteful $62 BILLION Bush-ordered presidential helicopter fleet and sent those already-appropriated dollars back to Treasury for a National Debt PAYDOWN, and then saved us another $352 MILLION PER PLANE by CANCELING the Cheney-ordered fleet of 138 F-22 planes, again using those saved dollars for DEBT PAYDOWN! These actions were done in his very first year as our elected nation-saving President!

If you examine CBO figures for the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and its supplemental Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act, you will discover that each provision was paid for by offsets and that, over time, the savings REDUCE THE DEFICIT drastically (see whitehouse.gov for more details). The economy-expanding Recovery and Reinvestment Act is designed to GENERATE REVENUES that help GROW the Republican-shrunken-to-bankruptcy economy (see recovery.gov for details). To say that President Obama and his hard-working administration does not care about debts is foolish and blatantly WRONG. You need to turn off Faux "news" for a more accurate perspective.

Spending is controlled by legislation, not by Presidential fiat, despite what you and your fellow conservatives believe.
