Lazy baby/ anterior placenta?
Today I had an ultrasound. I am 12+ weeks and the baby did really move that much. The heartbeat was fine and strong 160BPM but just wasn't moving much. I guess I am just not used to that because with my daughter she was always always moving. I guess it's not really a question but I am just a little worried though I know it's okay. The baby was moving the arms from the side to it's face, My other question is what is an anterior placenta? Well it make it harder for me to feel the baby.
I am aware of that I know I can't feel the baby move I was talking about in the ultrasound it wasn't moving around that much. I have a daughter I know when I average time is and I wasn't talking about feeling the baby right now I was just talking about the movement in the ultrasound.

I felt my son at 13 weeks, it was little random flutters. This baby I felt him at 15 weeks. With both my husband was able to feel at 16 weeks. We just make very strong babies!
However with an anterior placenta yes it will make it harder to feel the baby because that means it is in the front of the uterus (like to your belly button). So it takes more force basically for baby to go through and you may not feel baby as much.

I've heard my doctor speak about Anterior, and posterior cervix position. When referring to that, it is just which direction the cervix is pointing, if it pointing outward towards the opening, or back towards the cavity. I would "assume" when talking about the placenta it would mean which position it was in too. And no, when your baby develops enough to be felt, you will surely feel them. It starts off with small butterfly feelings in your lower abdomen, then it gets to the point to where you can literally see a foot or a fist that looks like it is trying to come through your skin lol.
