Colts Fans: How do you feel about the mess that is now going on with the team?

I am extremely pissed...no, livid. I don't care if people (who AREN'T COLTS FANS BTW) think that they are old. They are still good players. Freeney is our best defensive player. He's not slowing down anytime soon. They also released Melvin Bullitt who was one of the few good defensive players we had. I dnt understand how he's gone & our safties are still on the team. It baffles me! I am also hearing that Jeff Saturday won't be re-signed back; he's the best center in the NFL in my opinion (dnt care what anyone else thinks). Irsay is destroying this team. He's "rebuilding" but not in the right way...!

@M Diego: No offense, but are you serious with that Brackett comment?! He was definitely like the defensive Peyton Manning (also captain)....he held the defense together. When he got hurt, that's when our D started to collapse even more. Pat Angerer did ok, but he's no Brackett. We definitely need him.

Im not a colts fan, and id be pissed if i was, but since im not, i can see the bright side to where they're trying to go with this. And i think it will turn out for the better. They would only get worse from the 2010 team, (not last years, the year before) as they have too many older veterans. They need younger players. Although if i was the owner i would of kept Manning and traded the first pick (luck obviously) for a bunch of draft picks. I can only imagine luck is worth the 1st, 2nd, 3rd in this years and next years draft. Which is probably worth more. Especially since There will plenty of great QB's that have great potential in the next 5 years that manning will be around.

Rebuilding mode is never pretty.

Dallas Clark has become too injury prone, Addai is only good at picking up blitzes, Bracket has never been anything special.

Trading Freeney actually sounds like a smart move considering it costs them $14 million per year and is 32.

If I had to have my Jeep fixed 4 times I wouldn't want to buy it back at full price PLUS a bonus...... Manning is gone, I hate it but I get it. Addai is fragile if the Colts had a bruiser RB Manning may not be hurt. Clark has been on IR the last 2 years & we saw what he was capable of without Manning last year. Wayne is a thug, Manning made him, you are about to see him gone & what he's made of.

As far as the defensive guys..... they were only good under Dungy's system & the Colts are ditching that nancy system

I am a Chiefs fan, and thinking back to when Herm Edwards was shown the door and the Chiefs blew up their roster, its rough. Going from one of the best offenses to one of the worst in a couple years time is enough to make you hate the owners. Like the Chiefs I have no doubt the Colts will get rid of all their highly paid players and rebuild from the draft, going cheap for awhile til they have a young core of good players they can add free agents to. After 3 years that is where the Chiefs are, so I expect an ugly few years for the Colts.

NHL - The Oilers are interior the midst of a hunch...after beginning so properly they're sitting at 7-6-one million. NCAA soccer - The Aggies routed Iowa State. A-League soccer - The Phoenix have been given routed via Sydney, 3-one million. English preferable League soccer - Chelsea have been given a powerful 4-0 win vs. Bolton. worldwide rugby league - The Kiwis smashed France 62-12 interior the 4 countries excursion.

If I was a Colts fan, I would feel so fortunate that we had Manning for 14 years, and now get to restart with Luck.

I'd feel bad for the teams that have to blow up their roster every couple seasons with nothing to show for it. No reason the Colts won't be a contender for another decade after a season or two of rebuilding.

I think Irsay is a bozo. He's destroying the Colts. I wish someone would fire Irsay, so he would know how it feels to be left out in the cold. Sorry I'm venting, but I love Peyton and I'm mad.
