Do you think the Red Wings will play the coyotes in the 2012 NHL playoffs?

I live in AZ but LOVE the Red Wings. I missed the last time these two team faced off and wanna see them play live. I"ve seen all the standings and what not but i wanna get tickets just in case. So will they/what round will they play in this years playoffs?

I hope not, I hate the Red Wings and all the bandwagoners that cheer for them in Phoenix. Some of the least respectful and least classy fans I have ever seen are the ones wearing Wings jerseys at Jobing.com Arena.

If you're going to a Coyotes home game, you should cheer for the Coyotes. It annoys me that so many people in Arizona are hockey fans but don't support the Coyotes but rather out of state teams. It makes you look stupid, and it makes you a bad fan.

If you want to go to support the Wings, go to Detroit. But you live in Arizona, you're going to a Coyotes game, so cheer for the Coyotes.

We probably won't know until the very last day of the regular season. There are so many teams so close, the Wings could end up in first, second, fourth, or even fifth. The Coyotes might miss the playoffs entirely, or end up in sixth, seventh, or eighth. If the Wings end up in fourth or fifth they will almost certainly play a Central Division team in the first round. If the Wings win their division and finish in first or second, they could play Phoenix in the first round.

If they don't meet in the first round, they could meet in the second or third round, if they both win their series. That is unlikely, but stranger things have happened.

Detroit is a especially dominant group. i'm taken aback they only lost their clinched playoff spot final evening, yet they are going to in all probability get it back in any case. they might maximum probably have worry with the Vancouver Canucks, that's using fact Luongo has been getting some relax at present and whilst he gets back, he would be especially sturdy and working. The Sedin twins have fairly stepped up, alongside with plenty of their different gamers so little doubt the pink Wings might have worry with them. there is likewise the Chicago Blackhawks. Their performs are very comparable, so that's like being up against your self. they have have been given a especially sturdy winning streak and could make you artwork for the %..

Ye, people in Arizona can't support their own home hockey team over a team that is far away from them. Sad.
