Do Young Earth Creationist have any arguments for a young earth which aren't simply arguments against.....?

......evolution, radiometric dating, and a 13+ billion year old universe?

Update:

==============================

and there should be a very large dust layer (about a hundred feet thick) if the moon is several billion years old.

So you are saying the answer is "No, they don't have any arguments other than arguments AGAINST a very old universe."

Got it.

    Whatever answer I would give, you would say it was debunked. It seems like every answer that is given in support of creation OR evolution (old earth) someone will argue against it. But again, can the natural explain the supernatural? No. So according to the science on both sides the earth is young, and the earth is old. Since I am not a scientist, I get pulled in both directions and my arms are hurting. I will go with what I am comfortable with and that is the earth is young. In this I am happy in the Lord. And if you are happy in the Lord for supporting evolution and an old earth then I am happy for you. Together we can be happy that God created us.

    A single measurement of the rate of meteoritic dust influx to the Earth gave a value in the millions of tons per year. While this is negligible compared to the processes of erosion on the Earth (about a shoebox-full of dust per acre per year), there are no such processes on the moon. The moon must receive a similar amount of dust (perhaps 25% as much per unit surface area due to its lesser gravity), and there should be a very large dust layer (about a hundred feet thick) if the moon is several billion years old.

    No. They only have the argument from Ignorance, namely stating "you can't explain this, therefore it must have been god making it happen."

    About the fact that Creationism doesn't actually explain ANYTHING, so that argument could be turned 100-fold against them, they have no answer for.

    No but they dress up like scientists and and try and act like scientists, they get doctorships in philosophy and and go around calling themselves Doctor Whatever.

    They can run a sleek advertising campaign and raise large amounts of funds
