What kind of car speakers/sub/amp?

Alright, so I listen to a lot of heavy screamo music, with lots of double bass. August Burns Red, Miss May I, etc.. I listen to all other types of music as well, so I want to go with two 10" subs that'll keep up with the quick beats.

I was originally planning on having a system installed by a shop (Acura Integra), but I decided I would save A LOT of money having a friend do it, he knows what he is doing.

I want it to sound amazing, in the car, and be able to bump outside a bit too if I roll up somewhere. :D

One of the stereo shops wanted to put all Kenwood throughout, including subs and amps, is this a good idea? I'm just buying on Amazon. My budget for everything, 4 speakers, tweeters, two amps, the subs, and deck is about $1,000..

Any idea's/reviews on some of the speakers? I was looking at these subs.

What sounds good? Should I just go to a shop and let them tell me what to do? They all seem like salesmen.
