Advise on cover letter contents?

Do you think this is a good cover letter, any recommendations or things I should change? This is just the contents, obviously I left out addresses and stuff.

Dear Hiring Manager

I am writing this letter to express my interest in obtaining a position as a railway conductor. I am currently enrolled in the railway conductor program at BCIT, and am looking forward to putting the skills I’ve learned to good use.

I have enclosed my resume, which details my work history and education. I expect that several of my strengths will be quite transferable, such as my experience working with heavy equipment while employed as a ramp agent at the Terrace airport. And excellent customer service skills adhering to Safeway’s ‘superior customer service’ policy. In addition, I am motivated and enthusiastic, and would appreciate the opportunity to contribute to your company’s success.

I look forward to meeting with you to discuss the prospects of working for your company. Thank you for taking the time to consider me.
