how to transfer car title in VA?

Im from ohio and there all you do is get the title notarized out of your name when you sell it, how does it work in va

    The seller signs in the seller's signature section, the buyer signs in the buyer's signature section. You don't need to have it notarized.

    Re-assign car on Ohio title. List buyers name & address, Do not assign casr over with no buyers name, its illegal and dangerous.. Notary is not required in Va. I'm a retired auto dealer, had much experience in assigning cars.
