Were Did God come from?

God came from the imaginations of men who needed answers. They looked up into the sky, saw stars and blackness that seemed not to end. So they said to themselves "we'll say God created it".

Your question makes me laugh. Its like asking someone to report on a Nascar race but they can't watch the race, or asking for my opinion on how good a steak is but I'm not allowed to taste it first. How well would you trust a friends description of the girl he set you up with after you found out he never saw her before? How about giving your opinion on how good a movie is you never watched or read anything about? Thats what asking ANYTHING about God and then using something other than the Bible to answer it. Now theres other "proof" of the authenticity of whats in the Bible other than the words within it but anything pertaining to God and who He is and what He is all about needs to be found in His book, from HIs Word for we know nothing of HIm but what He tells us and then proves to be so by the full filling of it in our lives.

He says Hes been since the beginning, even before the beginning and who am I to call my Creator a liar? Just because your created mind can't conceive of "has always been" doesn't mean its a impossibility. You need to realize that we are hard wired to think of things as having a beginning and a end because, being created, thats the way of things in our world. Just because you don't understand how this could be doesn't make it not so and if God says it is, when everything else He tells us turns out to prove itself right, this, though impossible to really understand I have absolutely no doubt is the truth.

First of all, you can't ask the cyber public a question and then tell us how to answer you. You asked a question about God, so you will get answers about God and if it comes from the Bible, so be it, it's our answer to you.

The Bible said that God is the Alpha and the Omega, He is the beginning and the end. So He always was, is and am. He's just always existed. No one created Him, He created us.

Revelation 1:8 says:

"I am the Alpha and the Omega--the beginning and the end," says the Lord God. "I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come--the Almighty One."

You do know that some scientists believe that matter has always existed? This is the same concept as God. The conept might be hard for some people. It takes as much faith to believe in God than it does to believe that you really exist, that your life isn't an illusion.

God did not come from anything or anyone. God is not a "created" thing. He has always existed FROM eternity TO eternity. LOVE exists, right? But it is not a "created" thing. So, then, who "created" love?

Fartypants the leprechaun ate the previous universe and farted it out of his bunghole, the first of these farts, the little squeaker before the raunchy ones, he named "God" and set him adrift in the universe. Why the hell not? There's just as much proof of that as there is anything else concerning this "God" character.

God came from nowhere since there was nowhere for God to come from. He is Himself the ultimate and total existence in which all things exist, and He alone is self-sustaining and reliant on no one and nothing else.
