Should the premier domestic match, the Sheffield Shield Final be telecast on free to air tv?

Surely with the plethora of new free hi def channels there must be room for this the ultimate of domestic matches from which international stars can be born.

But that would cut into such valuable shows as the umpteenth repeat of Seinfeld or Baywatch!

I agree with you though, they should make room for the final if not the whole season of the SS.

@ Shiva, you poor deluded person! We have pay TV but they aren't showing the match. You need to check before throwing mud.

It should be, once upon a time it was. Not even certain how ABC local radio will cover it now the capitals have digital stations to farm off their content. Just had a look, seems us in regional Qld will be ripped off, once again. Pissed off big time.

Fox used to have the Shield final but with the NRL starting earlier, this has put the knocker on that.

It should be, but then again a lot of things should be on free to air TV that aren't.
