    There was a great documentary about it on the National Geographic Channel.

    I watched all the coverage and was reminded what a resilient and uncomplaining people the Japanese are. They didn't whine or hold their hands out and just got on with it.

    I admire them and wish that some Americans had their intestinal fortitude - the ones who think that whining should get them what they want.
