physics problem. horizontal and vertical components?

A bat strikes a 0.145-kg baseball. Just before impact, the ball is traveling horizontally to the right at a speed of 50.0 m/s, and it leaves the bat traveling to the left at an angle of 35 degrees above horizontal with a speed of 60.0 m/s. The ball and bat are in contact for 1.65 ms.

i need to find the horizontal component of the average force on the ball as well as the vertical component of the average force on the ball.

showing work is the most important, please include and explain any relative formulas. Thank You!

    mb = mass of ball = 0.145

    mB = mass of bat = ?

    v1x = +50 m/s

    v2x = -60 sin35

    v2y = -60 sin35

    ∆t = 1.65 ms = 0.00165 s

    a = ∆v/∆t = [-60 sin35 -(+50)]/0.00165 = -51160.4 m/s^2

    F = ma

    time to hit the floor, utilising vertical element. s = ut +0.5(9.80 one)t^2 seventy 8.4 = 4.905(t^2) t = 4.00 s so vertical element for speed is v = u +at v = 0 +(9.80 one)4 v = 39.24 m/s horizontal velocity could be 5 m/s nevertheless, assuming air resistance is negligible. and in case you like it very final speed is V1^2 + V2^2 then the sq. root of that answer, this is 39.fifty six m/s
