Do you like vintage clothes?

I have to wear skirts and dresses at home as I am not allowed trousers. I also have to wear stockings or knee socks and not tights, so I tend to try and be very classic. I like 40s tea dresses and 50s skirts. I put on some weight and had to wear a girdle for a few weeks which was different to my usual suspender belt. I wouldn't mind waering 40s every day but it's impossible to find real vintage here so I usually wear vintage style and if I go modern I go a bit gothy to justify my skirts/stockings look otherwise it's embarassing to say I dress like this because my parents make me.

I love vintage and retro style clothes from the 1940's and 1950's and think that ladies fashion has only gone downhill since that wonderful era.

I'm into vintage clothes but you haven't gone quite far enough back in time, lol. I love things with a Victorian look, with all the ruffles and frills. They are just so aesthetically pleasing to me, they make me feel feminine.

I also enjoy looks from the 50s as well for the same reason, particularly the pin up styles. Then I can look like a lady but still feel a bit sexy as well

I love the 40 and 50s Chanel inspired looks and the acid washed jeans and wild fashions of the 70 and 80s

1950's I like the form fitting style from the 50's especially the nylon stockings . the 60's were nice to as the skirts got shorter and more of the stockings were exposed.
