Solitaire players...help me get this straight...?
Are some solitaire programs harder to win than others? I have 3 games that I play: 2 apps on the Ipad, one free w/ads and one paid, and the third is a free one on my Mac Pro. I have a good record on the "Solitaires Greatest Hits by Fontaine" on the Big Mac Pro...it's a great free game for Apple.
I am concerned that the one I paid for is almost impossible to win...or not often anyway. Am I being paranoid? I sorta resent that I can't win much at the game app I paid for. My hand and arm are stiff from trying to figure this out....I'm retired and can do this all day if I want! Does anyone else ever seem to have a long losing streak with a game that seems a bit freaky? Any comments?

I would think not since the game is made to be won, given time. The program might be faulty since solitaire doesn't actually have a difficulty setting. Plus, the program has to "randomly" place cards. The thing about that is, software can't be random. It's impossible. What they do is, they make an algebraic equation so as to make it "random." To a human, it does come out random, but statistically speaking, it is not. Therefore, they might be using a faulty software or random-equation for their program. Or youre just being paranoid haha Sometimes its all in your head. Good luck!
