I want to frame a batik which is about 12" by 15" and I want to mount it on a textured Matt board like black velvety look or just dark paper. I don't think double stick tape would work since humidly would cause it to warp. I want to put another Matt around it and a simple frame. I'm thinking something like wallpaper paste but I don't want it to get moldy. I know there is sticky board for needle work but I would like it to be removable. It's nice but not real valuable but it could be in the future. I am making the frame myself. I want the frayed silk to show in a shallow window box look. It looks sorta like a watercolor on silk. Any ideas? I thought crafty folks would have bosomed help.

We are old and need some help deciding on which speakers we need for our new Samsung 46" HD TV. I want something I can also play me iPod or iPad on. We haven't had a tv in 9 years and are a bit baffled. There is a Samsung sound strip at sams but I don't see how to make it work on the iPod.

I open it up and it will only go up and down the menu. When I hit any button it closes. I thought it was used to listen and view media but I have no idea how to make the buttons work. I watched a video but I didn't get a remote with my computer so those directions don't help. There is no help with the program. I have loads of downloads in Itunes but using it keeps making the computer freeze. I thought this might be an alternative. any ideas?

My Apple is 2 years old and up to date. I keep having to repair Permissions to keep Virtual Box running to access Windows component.

I have had recent problems with Itunes crashing after a Podcast or music starts repeatedly stopping. Itunes is up to date too. I wondered if this verify disk would help. I don't want to pay Apple to get help for something their recent update messed up. It's been happening since I updated Itunes. I am old and not highly techny so simple is good.

I need to add that when Itunes crashes all I get is the swirling rainbow, nothing responds and I have to restart with button. when it restarts, it take a long time to come up. Everything was fine until this started and I am fine with the permission thing, it's some quirky thing and that's just where I saw "verify disk" and wondered what it did.

I am visiting Scotland and I see references to meerkats in ads and other media. What is the connection? Are they just nuts about them?

Are some solitaire programs harder to win than others? I have 3 games that I play: 2 apps on the Ipad, one free w/ads and one paid, and the third is a free one on my Mac Pro. I have a good record on the "Solitaires Greatest Hits by Fontaine" on the Big Mac Pro...it's a great free game for Apple.

I am concerned that the one I paid for is almost impossible to win...or not often anyway. Am I being paranoid? I sorta resent that I can't win much at the game app I paid for. My hand and arm are stiff from trying to figure this out....I'm retired and can do this all day if I want! Does anyone else ever seem to have a long losing streak with a game that seems a bit freaky? Any comments?

I have been in Italy for months and can get regular yahoo.com on my apple but I can only get it.yahoo.com on my iPad and I can't read it because it's in Italian. I can't find a toggle to go to English or a way to eliminate italian yahoo. I can translate it by page but I just want regular old American yahoo not some sappy Italian stuff which is all the Italian media amounts to. Is it impossible to get yahoo.com in Italy on the iPad?
