Vegetarian diet? Tips and ideas?
So here's the deal. I'm such a big meat eater, I love any kind of meat. I was looking up some healthy eating plans and came across one that was an all fruit/vegetable diet. So, from June 1st to August 10th (when I go on vacation) I want to become a temporary vegetarian. I want to get lean and slim down a little more. Any ideas or tips for this diet?

thats a great diet actually i do it every so often for only 2 weeks because its a detox and it cleans out your system id stick to organic fruits and veggies though hell even grow your own. you do lose weight on it i wouldnt say lean though because theres not much prtien in it. but avado is good for that. ummm if youa re doing this for detox purposes then only drink water and organic fruit juices no cheeses and stuff of that nature try to stay away from really everything but the fruit and veggies but there are planty of things you can do with those. make stir frys with some erbs and what not. youll be fine and there are plenty of really good recipes you might not want to go back. ive cut a lot of meet out of my diet after starting it just bacuse i crave vegitarian meals more now.,

I've been a vegetarian for a long time. For moral reasons too, so I don't really think it's a temporary thing but...
Just replace what you like to eat with meat, with vegetables. Instead of a hamburger, have a portobello burger. Start to like cooking. Appreciate the cooking part. I mean I really have no taste for meat, because I just haven't had it for so long. Stir fries with mushrooms, peppers, onions, bean sprouts - make a peanut sauce and some jasmine rice! Mmm.
Get your protein from nuts, peanut butter, eggs, other dairy products, beans, tofu, soy, there's so many alternatives!
