  • Could second hand smoke cause me to fail my oral drug test?

I was at a concert last night (Def Leppard and Poison) so needless to say there was a lot of pot smoking going on. There was a person in front of me and someone to the side of me smoking but not constantly, just once in a while. I moved every time I could smell the weed to not breath it in. I have an oral swab drug test on monday at 2:30 so it's 60 hours away. Will me being around pot smoke hurt my drug test? I didnt take a hit or anything just may have inhaled a tiny bit.

  • Does the tag have to be attached to the product to return it?

I bought a pair of sandals from Aeropostale yesterday and they hurt my feet so BAD! I put them on this morning while getting ready and wore them around my bathroom for five minutes and was already developing a blister..I ripped off the tag because I thought they'd be okay. I have the receipt and the tag it's just not on the shoes anymore. These shoes were 32 bucks so I'd really like my money back because I won't be wearing them. Do you think they'd take them back?

  • Working out, not losing weight but looking thinner?

Just a little background, I've always had an athletic build from 12 years of soccer but when I gain weight I always gain in the midsection and never my legs. Recently I've lost 20 pounds of weight I had gained. I have also started working out, it's been a week and a half but I burn about 650 calories a day via treadmill and stationary bike. I haven't been losing weight at all..which is weird, or maybe not but I look thinner and my clothes are a tiny tiny bit more loose. Why is this? There is no weight change but it looks like there are physical changes and I'm not the only one to notice. What is going on and what is happening?

  • Friend won't give my library books back..?

So this sounds really nerdy but my friend and I are going into college and have a summer reading list, I have an account with the county library and she doesn't so she asked if I could check out 3 books for her.. We've been friends for a while so I didn't think anything of it. Well, a couple of days ago I broke plans with her because I got called to babysit. She texted me yelling at me and blah blah, now we aren't friends. She won't give me those 3 books back so I called the library and to replace all three it's 52 dollars. What should I do! I did nothing but try to be a nice friend and it back fired..

  • How to remind someone they need to pay you? Babysitting?

My cousin called me last week and asked if I could watch her year old baby for a week, when she called she said "Do you wanna make some money?" So, she obviously said she'd pay me. Anyways, I watched the baby everyday from 8 - 5 so her and her husband could go to work. Well, this was last week and she still hasn't paid me. I really could use the money for gas and other things (I don't have a job yet) and she stated she would pay me. She wants me to babysit again next week, but I could use that time and gas on other things. I'm not being stingy, I'm just using a lot of money to get there and getting nothing in return. So, how could I bring this up in a non rude and tactful manner? Like I said she is family and I don't want to step on toes. Thanks!

  • Is it weird to like to be stuck by needles?

Alright, I'm not a "druggie" that shoots up or anything..I'm normal. But I love to be stuck by needles and get piercings..I look forward to it. I have to get my blood drawn once a month and I actually look forward to it. I find it fascinating, is this weird?

  • My first, long roadtrip, alone..tips?

Here soon (a week) I will be leaving from Indiana to go down to Florida. It's about a 14 hour drive. I got my license 10 months ago, so needless to say, I haven't been on this long of a road trip. I'm driving a 2002 Ford Crown Victoria ( the car I'm most comfortable with ). I'm 18. So are there any tips that'd be helpful? Should I drive all the way through? I'm going to see family so I won't be staying at a hotel once I get there. But any driving tips? Ways to avoid driving fatigue? Thanks so much in advance! :)

  • Can't find a job..running out of options?

I live in Terre Haute, Indiana. I have applied at anywhere and everywhere I can..from taco bell, to walmart, to pet stores) I can't seem to get anyone to call back. I'm a senior in high school and going to college in the fall but I can still work full - time. The thing is..I've never had a job so I don't know if this is what's holding me back or not. Under the resume part I did list babysitting. Any tips on landing a first job, I really need one. Thanks!

  • Ivy Tech - selected the wrong course? What to do?

I applied for Ivy Tech ( a community college ) and in the application I had to fill out what I wanted to study there.. I picked General Education AGS Distance Education; I didn't know Distance Education meant online courses, I meant to pick the normal one. What should I do to fix this? Should I wait to get accepted and then call or wait to meet with my advisor? I just really hope this can be fixed, I'm stressing out :(

  • Vegetarian diet? Tips and ideas?

So here's the deal. I'm such a big meat eater, I love any kind of meat. I was looking up some healthy eating plans and came across one that was an all fruit/vegetable diet. So, from June 1st to August 10th (when I go on vacation) I want to become a temporary vegetarian. I want to get lean and slim down a little more. Any ideas or tips for this diet?

  • Why am I losing weight everywhere but my stomach?

I've lost a total of 12 pounds in the past month by just cutting calories. I can tell I'm losing weight in my legs, wrists, face, chest, and arms..but I can't really tell in my stomach and that's where I want to lose weight. I know you really can't target weight loss but what will make this better? I'm just so frustrated.

  • Is it weird for a 18 year old girl to be driving around a 2002 Crown Victoria?

Basically my grandparents are giving me their 2002 Ford Crown Vic for free, it's in great condition and only has to hold me over for 6-9 months til' I get my new car. Usually you see Crown Vic's being driven by older people..is it weird for a young girl to drive one?

  • Crown Victoria for first car?

So I need some advice on cars. I'm 17 and getting my first car in the next month. My grandparents are giving me a 2002 Crown Victoria for free ( this car is in almost PERFECT condition..no body damage and the seats had covers on them so no stains or rips) , my dad said if I take that offer he will pay for my insurance while I'm in college and if I go 6-9 months with the Crown Vic without any wrecks he will give me his 2011 Ford Escape. I don't usually see teenagers driving these types of cars so, Should I take this offer or take out a loan and try to buy another car?
