Inter won the second leg 2-1. But Inter has not scored any away goals while Marseille have scored 1. That means Marseille will progress to the quarter finals although its draw on aggregate

Source(s): Away goals rule : When two teams are draw on aggregate in a knockout round, the team that scored more goals in the away match progresses to the next round.

Marseille won 1-0 in the first leg, at home. Inter didn't score that night, whereas Inter won 2-1 last night, with Marseille scoring a goal in the away game. That goal counts for 2, so It's 2-2 aggregate, with an away goal for Marseille. This means Marseille go through.

Marseille go through because they won the 1st leg 1-0 and the away goal today 2-2 which gets them through the next stage.

Marselle advances because of the away goal rule (Marselle scored at inter's home) so they get the tiebreaker

Marseille won as they scored a goal as a visitor while they played in Italy. Scoring a goal at the other teams home gives you an advantage.
