how does the communism scare of the 1950's relate to the red scare of the 1920's?

The media were much more influential in the 1950's, hence people were more scared! Capitalism (or Freedom as the capitalists want us to call it) IS destroying this planet. Humans demand that we live in this planet destroying system because the media tell us that every alternative / solution to our ultimate extinction is evil: As if perpetual human genocides (like we get in Capitalism) are a preferable alternative to a social system based upon social needs rather than individual greed.

Things become MUCH clearer when you aren't being lied to by the media.
