who can cross the Canadian border to the US?

I would like to know if a person from canada that is on social insurance "welfare" is allowed to cross the Canadian border to the US

    Yes definitely. All they need is a passport and they can legally stay in the US for up to 6 months.

    Yes. The U.S. doesn't care about your financial situation when crossing the border. We only care about your criminal record.

    I brought my wife's family here for vacation a few years ago. Both her parents are receiving social insurance.

    that is a lie if you are unemployed you can be denied as you are supposed to be gainfully looking for work and they dont buy the looking online trick either
