Anyone have experience with food and mood?
I have been wondering if feelings of depression or anxiety may be liked to poor diet choices. Does anyone have any experience with this? Any at all- could be specific foods that can make you feel better, certain nutrients that can make you feel better, lack of specific nutrients that may cause you to feel worse, addition of certain chemicals, additives, etc. that make you feel worse, general diet habits such as when you eat or how much at a time, or food combining... anything! Thank you

I definitely think there's an association here. Poor nutrition affects many parts of your body and emotional state of being. You might want to see your doctor before you start looking at what you should change in your diet. Get your thyroid checked too. Talk to a wholistic nutritionist about gettingthe right balance of foods too. A good program to consult with is Women to Women in Maine. It was co-founded by Dr. Christiane Northrup and has a great team of nurses and holistiic practiioners that can give you dietary and supplements advice to helpyou feel better.
