How do you untag yourself from a Facebook photo?
I've done it before, but now Facebook has changed everything again and I don't know how to do it now.

they are under the gear icon in the top right

Look for your name in the picture, scrolling over your name will reveal the part of the photo tagged as you but the entire picture appears in your photo roll, not just that rectangular square. At the bottom, you have the option to the right of your name to untag the photo. Click on it and confirm your choice. It should untag you from the photo. Recently Facebook asks you why you want it to untag. Just click the choice where it says I want to untag this picture of me. It should all be good! I hope this helps resolve your question?

click the little settings/tool button by the x when u open the picture in the top left and then find remove tag

If its not your photo you cant, in that case just ask him/her to untag you
