My dog is limping, front leg?
I have a miniature beagle who is about 6 years old. Today I was playing around with him in the house... I usually chase him around our dinner table. As he always outruns me, He was on the opposite side of me and that's when I heard him scream. I took a glance at him and saw him limping afterwards. Hours went by and I just took him out for a walk. He was having a hard time going up and down the steps in our porch and he still limps when he walks.
I'm guessing he may have pulled a muscle or something? what should I do?

Dogs are like humans. When running fast they sometimes get a sprain Take a look at the paw he's favoring, and, if it's not crooked keep him off it as much as you can. If he's still limping in 2-3 days, take the little critter to the vet. Once in a while it's a fracture.

A lot of my dogs have done things like that, he probably did just pull a muscle. Usually they're fine within a week. I'd say after a week take him to the vet because if it looks like there's no broken bones/serious injury than it's probably something small.

Call the vet it may not be that serious, do not play with him for now let him sleep and slowly find out where he is hurt and tell the vet they will tell you what to do next call a 24 hour vet dude poor beagle do something

First I wanna say this to the person that said "why not take your dog to the vet" or whatever they said....Not everyone can afford to take their dog to the vet. We all love and care for our animals but not everyone can afford That kind of money! But anyways your dog will be fine. Whatever it is nothing is broken. Dogs get aches just like we do. If this happens for a few days try putting your dog in a cage so that he/she can rest it. Your dog could of hurt its toenail so make sure to check that. Your dog probably just pulled a muscle and all you can do now is to let him/her relax for a few days they call this Kennel resting. My dog broke her pelvic bone when she was ran over and it took about two months of making her lay down by keeping her in a kennel but then she healed just fine :) Your dog will be just fine
