As a frequent flier, ticket less doesn't mean an automatic boarding pass. And you won't get a boarding pass unless you present id at the counter and go through security.

Now do you plan on blowing up a voting booth or taking the identIty of a registered voter?

I don't know where the hell you vote but it's one person, one vote in my district. My name is on the rolls ONCE and when I vote I sign my name next to it. ONCE! So unless you plan on carrying a sh!t load of white out your argument makes no sense. Republican fears of voter fraud is bullsh!t.

FYI at the airport it's still ONE paid ride, ONE boarding pass, ONE id and ONE person per EACH boarding pass.

    Edit:

The TSA does not discriminate against poor people. Airline ticket prices do that

A New York State Photo non-driver id card is $9 to $10 for either a 4 or 5 year id. If a person can't afford that every 4 or 5 years chances are they won't be flying. That's not the fault of the TSA.

Okay, the situations are almost comparable, but not exactly. Here's the way you can fix it:

If we now had a system where people did not need to show their tickets to get on a plane.

And, that system worked perfectly well.

And, for a specific sub-group of people (say, blacks and poor people), it were difficult to produce a ticket.

Then, should we keep the system the way it is, with no ticket necessary?

Actually the TSA is involved in a highly illegal and discriminatory practice. All passengers must show government issued picture ID that matches the name on the ticket. That is highly discriminatory to poor people, young people and people of color that are much less likely to be able to afford picture ID. Is that a special and extra tax over all others to restrict the poor and people of color from flying?.
