Is it ok if my 8th grade graduation dress is long or should it be short?

Go with the short dress. I'm graduating from eighth grade in June, and not a single person I know is wearing a long dress. You're going to have plenty of time to wear a long dress to homecoming, prom, sweet 16s, and more, so I would wear a short dress.

To be honest, 8th grade graduation is not really a big deal. Save the long dresses for prom. Definitely stick with short/knee length. It will be weird if you wear a long dress.

I think long might be okay, depending on what the other girls are wearing. But, I think short dresses are more fun because it's not awkward getting in and out of a car or dancing like it can be with long ones.

Not too super short, though. Then you couldn't lean over or reach up or anything. Like fingertip length is just perfect!! : }

In my opinion, short. I wore a short dress at my eighth grade graduation, even in high school the girls wear short dresses. Graduation is graduation... it's not a formal thing, unlike lets say... prom. Plus if it is going under your cap and gown (I don't know if it is, mine did), then a short dress for sure! For 8th grade .. knee length is perfect ! Not long because its not your highschool graduation !

And not to short because you dont want to be sluty ! So like maybe a bit higher then the knees would be fine ! not higher then that tho !

Short. Plus summer will be hot weather and you'll wish you had a shorter dress on. So if I were you, I'd go with short

I think its' up to you but in my idea i say not too long but not too short maybe a little bit more on top of your knees or a little bit lower up to you thanks and hoped this helped

I think Knee length would be PERFECT!!!!! Mine was kinda on the longer side and I was so annoyed with it.. and I was sweating to death!!!!!!
