Poll: Do you prefer pale or tan skin on the opposite sex?

The only time I find tan skin attractive is if it's natural, like people from other countries that are born with tan skin. Self tanning and tanning beds aka fake tans, to me are digusting. Who wants leather skin? I personally think pale skin is gorgeous on either gender.

a person with natural pale white skin can be attractive as well as a person with natural tan/olive skin.

Tonight I saw a white girl with pale white skin, her freckles brought her out. Also there is a wrestler, I think his name is Shamus, his red hair brings him out. I dated a white guy (pale on the legs), he had black facial features which caught my eye. So I guess it's really about the features that accompany either skin tone.

I'm not crazy about over tanning to the point that people with naturally white skin look baked and the teeth are extremely white-a fake look.

The darker the better:) I like naturally dark/brown skin. As for pale skin, yuk! I find it totally unattractive:( So, for me fair-skinned people look way better tanned:)
