What program should come on in Windows XP to import video from my Sony camcorder?
Sometimes a program will come on so I can import video from the Sony Handycam. Sometimes it won't and I can't import the video. How can I make importing more consistent?

Connect the camcorder as a disk drive via a USB cable, then copy the video files from the camcorder to the computer. You can then open them with a video editor. Windows Movie Maker won't open AVCHD files, I think, but many other programs will.

PMB is Sony's newer software. Depends when your Camcorder was made, and what software it came with.
