My Rose Flower Getting Smaller?

As my rose plant gets bigger, no matter whether planted it is on the ground or in pots. The flower gets smaller as it grows. I am living in the tropics. What should I do to keep it big?

Use a fertiliser that is high in potassium, maybe even a dilute tomato food if that is all you have

Prune your roses. As plants grow and age, they tend to branch more, and each branch terminates in a rose. The more branches, the more roses, but the smaller the roses at the end of each branch. Prune your roses back to a few large branches in the dormant season to produce fewer, but larger, roses.
