there is whats called a debt ceilling, and that is the limit. If it is not risen every so often, we will not be able to borrow, and the govt. will shut down, which may seem like a good thing, but it is. Notably, it cannot stop, since such a big and great country in the middle of a handful of wars has MASSIVE expences

I do not know the amount that we can borrow but l know or feel that we, as a country, should stop waisting money on things we do not need and get this country back to where it was, solvent.

Responsible folks know and fundamentally understand we really can't afford another trillion in debt.
