How to fix Jeep Liberty remote door lock on drivers side?
I am clueless when it comes to repairing anything involving vehicles so this may sound absolutely stupid so pardon me in advance.
In the last month or so, I've had issues with my remote locks but not all of them, just the drivers side door. When I hit Unlock/Lock on the remote OR on the buttons inside the vehicle, all of the doors respond and do as commanded EXCEPT the drivers side door…..why?
I'm not sure what I need to fix or rather, have fixed……any advice?
Thanks

It is most likely a bad door lock solenoid or even wiring. A solenoid is an electric motor and they do wear out. Since you are clueless you should really get a technician to take a look at it. Or just look and unlock by hand.

Door lock actuator or wiring inside door. Not part of your skill set. Body shop or independent repair facility. Get an estimate before going in.

It is mine. Is the actuator part or ar attached to the lockset. Mine moves the pushbutton and makes a little noise. I had the panel off and ran out of time. So what from there.. THANKS
