Climate Change/Global Warming, how is it effecting the world at a local and a world wide scale?

According to "Inconvenience Truth" the world only had until 2008 to stop global warming. Now it is TOO LATE.

90% of humanity will die HORRIBLE deaths from floods, hurricanes, droughts, blizzards, tsunamis and earthquakes.

Only the Lear jet people like Michael Moore and Al Gore will survive the coming climate APOCALYPSE in their underground mansions.

Global warming is a lie and nobody should believe it.

It is all a marketing scam to promote alternative energy and hybrid vehicles.

I can't remember where, but in 2011, there were temperatures recorded in a specific area, and turned out to be the lowest for over 100 years. I think in was in the arctic region.

I live in Florida, and for the past year or so, it's been surprising cooler out. During the winter, the temperatures averaged around 60-70 degrees. This past winter, I've experienced temperatures well into the 40's.

Don't listen to what people are saying. Everyone argues that our increased pollution rate is causing global warming, but we have polluted way more in the past because we never had the technology we do today. Notice how global warming is sort of a new topic. And notice how hybrid technology has emerged at around the same time. Like I said before, it's a marketing tactic.

when the climate change. The ice melt. when ice melt. polar bears and other animal dies. when they die and go extinct. its bad, because the animals that died might be a cure for something we don't know. for example, if there is salmon(fish) goes extinct, then there is no food for the bears so they would die. what i'm trying to say, is everything is a chain, and if a part of a chain breaks. then, they all fall apart.

Global warming is effecting the earth's environment on a large scale. Earth's atmospheric temperature is slowly increasing, which can lead to melting of glaciers and eventual rise of sea level.

No one is denying that global warming (and cooling) is taking place. The +problem+ is that there bad decisions being made with information from the hysteria which is being created by the alarmists.

International Socialists like Gore are creating a false hysteria in order to scare the masses into giving up freedom and to submit to more government control, more “international” government control. Wake up, America! He who controls energy controls the world.

What is NOT real is the quackery that humans caused (or can even affect) global warming.

Here is truth about global warming:

Global warming is one-half of the climatic cycle of warming and cooling.

The earth's mean temperature cycles around the freezing point of water.

This is a completely natural phenomenon which has been going on since there has been water on this planet. It is driven by the sun.

Our planet is currently emerging from a 'mini ice age', so is

becoming warmer and may return to the point at which Greenland is again usable as farmland (as it has been in recorded history).

As the polar ice caps decrease, the amount of fresh water mixing with oceanic water will slow and perhaps stop the thermohaline cycle (the oceanic heat 'conveyor' which, among other things, keeps the U.S. east coast warm).

When this cycle slows/stops, the planet will cool again and begin to enter another ice age.

It's been happening for millions of years.

The worrisome and brutal predictions of drastic climate effects are based on computer models, NOT CLIMATE HISTORY.

As you probably know, computer models are not the most reliable of sources, especially when used to 'predict' chaotic systems such as weather.

If we were experiencing warming (and we're not) it would be a good thing. Civilization tend to thrive in the warmth.
