Obtaining a Russian tourist visa for Canadians?

How complicated or easy is it to apply for a Russian Tourist visa for Canadians? Particularly if you live in Western Canada far away from the Embassy?

    Applications by mail are no longer possible. You either apply for the visa in person in Ottawa or you make use of accredited travel/visa agencies who may apply for the visa on behalf of you. Those are:

    not something isn't plausible, I stay completely in the united kingdom and that i have been given a visa to Russia from Poland in 2 days (I had to pay some more advantageous money for the certain difficulty inspite of the truth that) with out any residential address in Poland. inspite of the undeniable fact that, i'm a Polish nationwide, so as that would want to be the reason why it worked out. besides, flow to a go back and forth organisation organising journeys to Russia and they'll kind each little thing for you.
