What should I do about picking a college ???? ?
I am very smart and got accepted to Stanford in CA. This is the only Ivy league I got into. My other option is going to Rutgers University in NJ. I really want to go to Stanford but I live in NJ and My parent told me that I will no longer belong to my family if I leave NJ and go to Stanford. (I am in an Indian family so my parents dont listen to me) What should I do?????

Your parents are trying to make you stay in NJ by giving you a guilt complex. If they love you, they will never disown you for moving away. Just the fact that they want you to stay in NJ shows how much they love you. Indian parents often use this type of reasoning with their children - one guy I know had to go to Med School because his parents said they’d disown him if he didn’t. Make your own decisions and do what you want to do - they will get over it. Things could be much worse for them - you could be telling them that you’re marrying a non-Indian girl :)

Excel at Rutgers and do your grad work at Stanford.
Or Princeton
Also be careful that you don't talk about how smart you are and mention that Standford is "Ivy league" to the same person - your credibility will suffer.

If you are very smart how come you don't know that college are schools for fools?

Then perhaps you will think twice about going to college or at least you will be wary of them.
Also download and read 'Transformation of America' by Cathy O'Brien and understand that most colleges are a cover for more sinister goings on than dumbing you down.
