The book contains Concert Suites from the Ballets "The Sleeping Beauty and the Nutcracker" by Pletnev.
I had to special order it from
Pianist are fortunate to have such a talented transcriber/pianist increasing our repertoire.

Hi, mephy. I have heard a few Tchaikovsky transcriptions by Pletnev - most of them from 'The Nutcracker' - and I have enjoyed them enormously.

Definitely has a 'feel' for this music: wonder if he also conducts? If he doesn't, maybe should try his hand at it.
