Are the climate change deniers sad that we didn't get any snow or cold this winter?
Winter pretty much skipped us in Michigan this year. Only a fraction of the snow and low temperatures nowhere near normal. I'm not saying this is proof of climate change, but I'm just sayin'....
During normal winters, somewhere in the USA, we'd get a blizzard or some freezing cold temperatures. As soon as we did, the right wingers would be all over the airwaves demanding that liberals explain why it snowed if we were undergoing global warming. (as if ANY theory said that it wouldn't snow during winter). Republicns took such glee in pointing out that it had snowed.
This year they didn't get the chance. Are they sad because of this?

they are too ignorant to realize that their obstructionism is destroying the world for use by humans. And they don't care as long as it serves their god, Mammon.

Where I live, we are 1" away from the MOST SNOW EVER in a single Winter Season.
Climate and weather are 2 different things....But, well, Science really doesn't matter in the Political Subject of "Climate Change", does it.

The climate may or may not be changing. If it is it is not mans fault. Being from Michigan {I am from Illinois} you should know that about 15,000 years ago our states were under an ice sheet over a mile thick. The earth warmed and it melted. The climate changes. That ice age was not the last nor was it the first.

You kidding? This winter was awesome in Michigan!
The real problem is that liberal scientists came up with the misnomer "climate change", like Alaska is going to become a rain forest in a few years. Liberals need to stop trying to come up with slogans and work on viable solutions.

Nope, Weird that this winter for us went on record as the 2nd warmest winter, but the funny thing is is that the warmest was in 1943. Seems like it's fluctuating to me and we're a victim of circumstance.

Let me assure you that global warming is the least of our problems.
You see, I have recently discovered that the rate of "continental drift" is speeding up due to the increased amount of traction from all the automobile tires on the earths freeways. I am in the process of creating a "hockey stick" graph to illustrate this. If we fail to act immediately, the continents will eventually collide, as predicted by many scientists, but at a much higher rate of speed because of man made travel methods. I have already worked out a way to sell "traction credits" to the trucking industry and to those who contribute to this increase by making one way trips in their cars. I am also planning on a documentary entitled "An Inconvenient Trip".
I really feel that I can make a lot of money off my discovery while, at the same time, helping to save mankind from the calamity of a high speed Continental collision.
I have good reason to believe that I can gain the support of most liberals in this matter, in spite of any skepticism by conservatives.

Probably not.... I do remember a lot of snow in October though... that was weird... It was not winter yet.
This weather pattern means nothing to them.

dunno....are you happy that all that "green energy" money your guys promised to spend went to corrupt cronies selling defective "solar" parts and chinese-made windmills?
once more so you might actually understand: that the weather changes is NOT a myth....that it can be fixed by a massive new government bureaucracy, a charity concert and good thought IS.

Considering that emissions are lower now because of the crappy economy, I think it's proof that climate fluctuates based on factors beyond our control.
