What order were the Books of the New Testament written?
I am not looking for the chronological order (the time in which the events took place) but rather the order in which the books were actually written. If I am correct it should start out with the book of Job. Help please!

The order of authorship is **much** disputed by appropriately-accredited scholars. Generally it runs like this:
- Paul's letters
- Gospels
- Revelation
- other letters
This seems a scholarly analysis, giving wide ranges when necessary (that is: when evidence is lacking):

This is in easier-to-read chart form, and seems in my opinion to be only a little less reliable than the above site:

Here is what you didn't ask for - the order of **the events** chronologically, by book, chapter etc. (NT starts on page #1688 - page number at the top)

It is the best (most scholarly) analysis of chronologically ordering the Biblical events that I know online (most others - *contrary to appropriately-accredited scholars* - place "Job" before "Exodus").

Wow! JOB is now New Testament!
That sounds like another major change in God's eternal and unchanging Word.

it form of feels that there have been conflicting comments as to the chronological order of the recent testomony Books. whilst they have been written, whilst they have been supposedly further to, and whilst they have been printed. i think of how we examine them now is what the Lord had meant.
