Why was I chased down on the road?

I was coming home from dance practice after 12am and there were two cars ahead of me. The one in front of me (white car) started turning into a left turn lane without his indicator on and then abruptly swerved back in front of me. I could have hit him so naturally I honked. The car in the other lane (black car) switched lanes and drove in front of the white car. Now seeing the right lane clear, and knowing that I would have to eventually make a right turn, I switched into the right lane. Then, the black and white car swerved in front of me as I was making a right turn. The black car then stopped in the right lane and the white car pulled up beside it. As i drove around them the white car and black car drove up close behind me and chased me home. I drove right into my drive way as opposed to reversing like i normally do to avoid being hit by the cars. I parked my car but remained inside and the two cars were sitting in front of my house. One of the guys in the car pulled down his window and said something but I couldn't hear. As I was reaching for my phone to call for help the two cars sped off. I'm pretty sure they are not drunk. Their actions were deliberate. Maybe it was a result of road rage but they were swerving and braking in front of me before I even honked my horn. I thought maybe they were racing but racing requires speed and they were clearly focused on blocking my way. What were they trying to accomplish?

Update:

I realized that I probably shouldn't have drove home but understand that they started following me when i was on empty side streets. They were so close i felt like they would have started slamming into my bumper like they do in movies. I needed to get out of their way and I didn't want to stop anywhere that I was alone. Since I was home my parents could have came out and helped me that's why I did it and since its the suburbs everybody goes to bed or appears to be sleeping at 12am. i didn't want to pull into some random persons driveway that can't help me cuz their sleeping and who knows how long the cops would take to get there if i had to call them. In terms of getting immediate help, going home was my best chance.

Update 2:

and also...because they were so close behind me, i was forced to drive recklessly to keep them from slamming into me. I didn't want to be on the road much longer just to get to a public place and risk the safety of other people on the road.

They are just stupid drivers. Probably just thought "lets have a little fun". Some people are retarded like that. Some people get mad really easily too, so you gotta be careful. I agree with the other guy. I don't think you should have drove home. Now they know where you live and if they are as stupid as they sound they may try to mess with you again. If that ever happens again I would suggest pulling into a a police station or a 24 hour place that sis decently busy...like 24 hour fitness or Dennys. Also maybe buy some pepper spray or something to carry with you just in case you have any incidences. Stay Safe!

I would have probably had a heart attack. I get scared and feel threatened very easily.

ONE, why the **** would you drive home when they were behind you? Now they know where you live. Great move.
