Noise under hood when going over bumps?

Hey guys, I was just wondering why there's a noise under my Hood when I go over bumps. I just recently replaced the clutch for a BRAND NEW one which cost about 675 for the kit. And it didn't make the noise before. The car seems to drive just fine, acceleration. And getting the car into gear is No problem. It's a 2004 Ford Focus SVT 2.0 DOHC

Check and see if your coil springs are broken. I have replaced about 4 broken front coil springs in Focus' in the past 2 years.

First of all....it's a Ford.... LOL. Just teasing ya.

Maybe a loose air filter ***'y ? Loose reservoirs ?

Broken motor mount ? Was that a remove-the-tranny clutch job ? - If so many issues could be down there. Some thing is loose, check the hood latch !! Lugs nuts.....? sound transfers itself around. Sound could be from other places. Good luck - hope your clutch is good now.

It's more than likely in the suspension. You might have a strut that's making it, hard to know without a better description of the noise. The clutch wouldn't have anything to do with it, unless it's in the linkage.

Check sway bar links and bushings. Just did sway bar links on my 95 Lincoln, my son's 85 Olds, and my other son's 95 DeVille. They can put out a lot of noise for just a little slop in the ends.

If the sound only happens while going over a bump, then it is in the suspension. Check strut rods, coil springs, stabilizer link and stabilizer bushings..........gl

Have you checked your suspension at all? Check your bushings for cracks and what not.
